Activity: 1) Mind Tricks
Contents:
-The activity planner brief about the upcoming activity.
Procedure 1
-First and foremost, the activity planner presented some pictures on the slideshow.
-Later, the activity planner explained the definition of each word in the mine tricks.
-Afterwards, the members were given some time to think about the answers for the mine tricks.
-Mine tricks such as: elephants don’t have hands, only feet. How are you going to find an elephant one hand? (You don’t) Next, how many birthdays have you celebrated so far? (Only one, because the others all just anniversaries)
-When the time was up, the members then said or typed their answers in the chat room.
-Lastly, the activity planner revealed the answers and explained the answers to the members
Activity: 2) Tongue Twisters
Contents:
-The activity planner gave a explanation on the activity to the members.
Procedure2
-First of all, the activity planner opened the slide for the activity.
-Next, the members were given time to practice for the tongue twisters.
-Then, the members must speak out the tongue twisters loud and clear through their microphones.
-Some easy tongue twisters include a good cook could cook as much cookies as a good cook who could cook cookies and the thirty-three thieves thought that they thrilled the throne throughout Thursday.
-Following, the activity planner presented harder tongue twisters to the members such as
Mary Mac’s mother’s making Mary Mac marry me. My mother’s making me marry Mary Mac. Will I always be so merry when Mary’s taking care of me? Will I always be so merry when I marry Mary Mac?
-Finally, the activity planner chose some members to read the tongue twisters out loud to inspect the member’s concentration during the activity.
Conclusion:
-The members learned some brain storming mine tricks.
-Members also learned some new vocabularies during the activities.
Aims:
-To introduce safe learning by learning from home
-Make sure members gain new vocabulary in each of the activity.
-Verify that members are always concentrating during the activities.
