Activity:  1) Poem Recital

Contents:

-The president explains about the poem recital for the school’s 64th anniversary.

Procedure 1

-Firstly the president gives the script of the poem recital to the members.

-Then the members are form into three rows.

-The teacher advisor shows the actions that the members must do in the poem recital.

-The teacher advisor also stress the pronunciation of some of the selected words.

-After that, the members are given 10 minutes of break time.

-Lastly, the members continue to practice the poem recital.

Activity: 2) Murder Mystery

-The activity planer explains about the activity.

-They members are form into a big circle.

-The three roles include police, murderer and civilian.

-Each members has their own role, and they must try their best to win the game.

Aims:

-To carry forward the spirit of loving our school.

-To strengthen member’s relationship.

-To improve member’s vocabulary learning and pronunciation.

Conclusion:

-Members should learn how to cooperate with the activity planner.

-Members should be more active while participating in activities.

Contents:

Activity: 2) Jeopardy Game

Procedure 2

-Firstly, the president explains about the activity.

-Each three groups must choose their group leader to receive punishment.

-Then the activity planner write the four themes on a piece of paper and stick it on the board.

-The activity planner also stick four more papers for each theme on the white board.

-The papers have marks in the front and questions based on the themes behind the paper. The higher the marks the bigger the punishment, the lower the marks the lighter the punishment.

-Each group has a chance to choose which theme they want.

-If the group answer the questions correctly, the other groups must face the punishment.

Aims:

-To carry forward the spirit of loving our school.

-To strengthen member’s relationship.

Conclusion:

-Members should learn how to cooperate with the activity planner.

-Members should be more active while participating in activities.

Contents:

-The activity planner teaches the members about grammar tenses.

Procedure 1

-Firstly, the activity planner opens the ppt in the computer.

-Secondly, the members take out their notebook to copy the notes.

-Then, the activity planner teaches the members about grammar tenses including present continuous, present simple, past simple, present perfect and past perfect.

-Lastly the activity planner shows some exercises in the slide, the members must try their best to answer all of the grammar questions.

Activity: 2) Bombastic words for essays

Procedure 2

-Firstly, the activity planner explains what are the bombastic word’s meaning one by one.

-Secondly, the members are required to copy the bombastic words as they can use the words when writing an essay.

-To improve members English skills.

-To strengthen member’s relationship.

Activity:  1) “Tongue Twister”

Contents:

-The activity planner explain how the game works.

Procedure 1

-Firstly, the members are split into 4 big groups.

-Secondly, each group must select a representative to do the “tongue twister” selected by the activity planner. The examples of “tongue twisters” include you name it, if we can’t get it, we will send you to get it. If we can’t send you to get it, forget it, who’s got it, if we don’t get it? 

-Then the representative from each group must try their best to tell the correct “tongue twister” to their group members.

-Lastly, the group that lost will get the punishment.

Activity: 2) Act out the verb

Procedure 2

-Firstly, the activity planner explains how the game works.

-Secondly, the representative from each group must act out the verb given by the activity planner to their group members.

Aims:

-To improve members English skills.

-To strengthen member’s relationship.

Conclusion:

-Members should learn how to speak confidently and bravely.

Activity:  1) Spelling Bee

Contents:

-The activity planner introduce the game to the members.

Procedure 1

–Firstly, the activity planner says a word, the members need to spell out the word. The members must guess the meaning of the word.

-Some of the words are scrumptious, Metabolism, paediatrician, gnu, radiation, xenophobia, taint and others.

-The members are require to write down the words in their note book.

Activity: 2) Dad Jokes

Procedure 2

–Firstly, the activity planner says a joke, the members must try their best answer the riddle.

–The members take turns to guess the answer those who didn’t answer a single question will have a punishment.

-The riddles include why couldn’t a bicycle stand? , What you call a blind deer? , Why is Peter Pan always flying? And many other riddles.

Aims:

-To improve member thinking skill.

-To strengthen member’s relationship.

Conclusion:

-Members should learn how to speak confidently and bravely.

-Members should be more active while participating in activities.
