At our society meeting today, all of us played a game called “the animal game”. In this game, students took on the roles of various animals such as the hippopotamus, flying fox and so on. All of the students then clapped according to a rhythm and one at a time called for another animal also according to the rhythm. Today was the second official society gathering and first day for society activities. We played two games today for ice-breaking purposes, one was “blow wind blow” which involves a student ‘blowing’ others with certain characteristics (eg. wearing glasses), those blown would then have to get up from their chairs and run immediately to another. The slowest student left with no chair would then continue...

2 July – Scrabbles ...
In the first society day on July, we had some interesting board games as society activity. Today, society groups are given Scrabbles and Monopolies, and are working closely as well as improving their English skills.
